I fell in love with design and website creation at Thomson Reuters (LawInfo). There I was able to witness how important it was for end-users to easily navigate a website and what a hindrance inefficient, poorly-designed websites could be to productivity. Using Adobe Photoshop and Notepad, I learned coding and was quickly promoted to Web Designer which gave me a wealth of education in marketing and web design. I spent the remaining 20 years at that company managing design projects with a small staff until the department was eliminated in 2015.

Since then, I have continued to expand my knowledge in design and now my background is as diverse as the industry itself. Ranging from Web, Print and Architectural, I have experience in all aspects of design including e-commerce, marketing, visual, landing pages, and even commercial signage design. I love learning new aspects of design and tools that can improve my skills and become an asset to my employer.

 

I’ve designed for large and small companies to create all kinds of interfaces but understanding the human experience is essential for creating useful and effective products. I create experiences that make life easier.
